Does it work on darker or tanned skin?
Yes. Primelase works with four wavelengths (755, 810, 940, and 1060 nm), which allows us to safely treat all phototypes from I to VI. Even with a beach tan — other places tell you to wait until winter. Here, you don’t have to.
How many sessions will I actually need?
It depends on the area you’re treating, your hair type, and how well you respond to the treatment. Most areas require 6 sessions. For facial or very fine hair, it may take 8. If you have particularly abundant hair, we’ll advise you on the next steps during your free consultation.
How much does it hurt?
The most common sensation is “warm with a slight tingling.” The Crystal Freeze system continuously cools the skin to 5°C during the treatment, so the sharp pain of traditional lasers virtually disappears. Most patients complete entire cycles without any topical anesthetic.
What if I have sensitive skin or have waxed recently?
For your first session, we need at least two weeks without waxing, tweezing, or bleaching—only shaving. This ensures the hair follicle is intact and the laser targets it correctly. We’ll confirm this during your consultation.
How long does a session take?
Underarms: 5 minutes. Bikini: 12 minutes. Full legs: 30 minutes. Full body: 90 minutes. Primelase has large heads and fast flashes—it’s the fastest hair removal you’ll ever experience.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes, it’s free up to 12 hours before your appointment. After that, we apply a small fee to respect the time of patients on the waiting list. We made that clear from the beginning.
What happens if hair grows back after my treatment?
It’s normal for a very small percentage of cases to recur over the years due to hormonal changes. That’s why we offer discounted annual maintenance sessions for our patients. Once a year is enough.
